Crystal Ward - OutDoc (Co-Founder)
Crystal Palmero Ward is the co­-founder of OutDoc, an online platform that connects patients to LGBT­-friendly doctors. Motivated by doctors’ visits that felt incomplete and inept to her needs as a lesbian, Crystal wants to improve the healthcare experience for those that also defy the heteronormative standard. With eight years of educational leadership experience, Crystal is using her skills and passion for social justice in the health­-tech industry to create an inclusive and affirming space for the LGBT community to receive top­-quality healthcare services. Crystal’s additional passions include shopping for the perfect outfit or pair of shoes, coaching her girl’s basketball team, and ensuring that other powerful women claim their seat at the table and find their unique voice as leaders.
